ARTEL Extreme Pipetting Expedition
WELCOME

The ARTEL Extreme Pipetting Expedition is a study that examines the effect of various environmental factors on delivered volumes from pipettes. Our Expedition Team traveled to selected sites in North America that are characterized by certain environmental extremes. We measured environmental effects such as:
Mission 1-Mount Washington Observatory
Mission 3: Death Valley
Pipettes and barometric pressure
Pipettes and hot, cold fluids
Pipettes and aridness, humidity
Future mission-ARTEL Extreme Pipetting Expedition
Mission 2-Yellowstone National Park
Pipettes and temperature changes
The results of the study can help laboratories account for and/or eliminate these major sources of potential error.
